Note: Revealing details for Episode 3 of Campaign 4 lie ahead.
The Soldiers Table Revealed
The latest chapter finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of heroes who will branch out from the main group to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.
The Soldiers table includes Teor (played by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Considering a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.
This explains, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.
At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look unsuited, but the events of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Motivations for Departure
For one thing, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.
A former ally of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
Casimir then paid off his obligations and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as the companion and closest confidant, wants revenge.
- Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous location.
- Tyranny and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
- Yet, their status as important members in the influential clan could help the party enter areas they usually can’t.
- Furthermore, Teor vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are sought by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and Wicander defied the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.
This means them few options but to head to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers groups.
